I want to personally thank you for your support. In March of 2010 I entered the race to become the Governor of the great state of Florida in 2010. Today I withdraw from the race with a heavy heart and a hope for a better tomorrow for Florida and it's residents. This campaign was never about me. It wasn't about gaining status or obtaining an office to say look how great I am. This campaign was about me working to fix the issues that we all see coming towards us. The problems that we face with health care mandated by the federal government, the new cap and trade regulation and taxes and of course our growing state budget problems. These were the issues that I wanted to address and correct not only for our current residents but our future generations including my daughter. My wife and I have worked hard to insure that our daughter has the best future, now we aren't sure that her future will be much better than our struggles were when we first graduated and started a family. It was because of this feeling that I entered the race for governor. I would not have entered the race if I felt that someone else could actually do the job and address our issues. I took time away from my family and traveled the state to gain support for the campaign. The campaign did gain attention, but never raised the amount of donations needed to create traction with the media.

For those of you that did support the campaign, and there were many, I want to say thank you. Many people have asked if I will run again. At this time I am unsure because I feel that right now the problems can be solved, but in two or more years I am unsure they can be solved. As I go forward in the future I will remember the lessons I learned on this campaign. I will keep those of you that I met without a job and facing foreclosure in my prayers. I hope that the future will be brighter for Florida. I know that we are resilient people and will overcome any adversity that we face. I wish only the best for you and the state of Florida.

Uphold the US Constitution.

Adhere to the Florida Constitution

Enforce the tenth amendment of the US Constitution.

Protect the sovereignty of the state of Florida from federal government intrusion

Defend the Second Amendment of the US Constitution

Create Jobs for Florida residents.

Freeze Florida state government spending on all non-crucial programs.

Freeze state government employee pay.

Find a private entity to purchase the high speed rail or end the program

Reduce large and small employer tax burden.

Enact a sunset law for all toll roads

Enact prison farm programs to offset prisoner food costs

Increase penalties for employers hiring undocumented and illegal workers

End government earmarks and pork programs.

Work with members of both the House and Senate to end partisan bickering

Increase test scores and graduation rates while abolishing FCAT testing
